The weekend will also include, for Producer Pass holders, our filmmakers PRO LOOP Series that will allow participants to have a hands-on filmmaking experience by selecting various cameras and gear to shoot one scene. Attendees will first learn why certain cinema lenses are used, how to light a scene properly and how to record the best sound. PRO Loop Series will take place on Sunday July 24th 2016 from 10:00am – 2:30pm and will be sponsored by Atlanta-based Vircision, a 50,000sqft multi-media production studio and Innocinema, a digital cinema equipment rental company.

As Georgia’s filmmaking industry continues to expand, the Indie Film Loop believes the conference will help pinpoint the various opportunities and resources available for filmmakers on all levels of production in and around the Atlanta area. Plus, with our new partnership with Vircision Studios and other community innovators, we will be able to provide access to essential filmmaking tools while developing Atlanta’s independent film community into a pillar of creative storytelling according to Deontae Trundle, Founder and Managing Partner of Indie Film Loop.

“Through our showcase competitions, some of the Southeast’s top-tier or up-and-coming industry talents will be highlighted for producers, directors and decision-makers everywhere to see and perhaps be selected for future productions, get agents and build their own brands,” Trundle said.
