CONGRATULATIONS

Thanks to EVERYONE who showed up, got creative, had fun and were able to submit your images for us to choose from. Our first WORKLOOP Film Poster Photo Challenge was a huge success and Atlanta’s Photography Guild (APG) definitely has some enthusiastic members ready to push the boundaries of creativity. We appreciate the excitement everyone had about what we are doing and cant wait for our ACTION COMEDY WORKLOOP coming within a month. So, stay tuned for that one!

Congratulations to our selected photo WINNERS Kishore Tatikonda, Moises Suliveres, Retz Joseph, Marilyn Nieves, and Tony McCoy! With all of the amazing submissions it was tough to choose the best but we had to. So, we did. Instead of choosing the 3 top photos as originally planned, we saw a better way and choose the top 6 – 10 images (even though we were only able to select 7 that worked best). This way, our graphic artist WORKLOOP participants will have more options to choose from when the do their Poster Design WORKLOOP Challenge and will be able to have a wider range of possible designs from it.

SHOWCASING YOUR WORK AT COBB GALLERIA AUGUST 7 – 9 2015

As a selected winner you will be able to showcase your work at the Cobb Galleria Centre during the Indie Film Loops Film Conference & Creative Showcase! You will receive a Complimentary Access Pass for the weekend and will be showcased individually and as a part of the entire WORKLOOP Film Projects. It’s very exciting and we will have more information on that as we move forward as well.

KEY COMPONENT OF OUR SELECTIONS

The images selected, fit the overall theme and synopsis the best. They show a lost but determined soul that will either need guidance, or just the will to want to move forward. Having the character look straight into the camera shows us the emotion and connects you with what they might be thinking.

We saw a lot of images that had the character looking up and out of the shot which gave them a fashion type of image and made us focus more on what the character was wearing. Of course that doesn’t work for this but, the shots that has the character looking down shows the lost feel we were looking for and that does work. So, just a few things that really took us one way or another and we hope you all had a great experience from it.

RUNNER UPS

Just to show you all some cool & creative images, here are a few runner up photos that we thought and debated over for a while about  but they ultimately didn’t fit for the overall theme/story. Thanks again Tony McCoy, Centrell Haynes and Marilyn Nieves
